Meet our Team

Working together toward a common goal!

The Berg Lab welcomes applications from postdoctoral fellows and students (4th year undergraduate and graduate) interested in pursuing research on understanding the determinants of treatment response in acute myeloid leukemia towards developing novel treatment options.

As part of our application process, we accept applications from prospective graduate students who have already applied to either the department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences or the Medical Sciences program. If you are seeking either a MSc, PhD, or MD/PhD, you will gain considerable knowledge about student expectations and admissions criteria by visiting the following McMaster websites: McMaster’s School of Graduate Studies, Biochemistry Graduate program, and the Medical Sciences Graduate program.

Prospective graduate students who have applied and received conditional acceptance from their graduate program will receive priority consideration.

Undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows can apply directly to our program. Undergraduate students should indicate in their cover letter, details of the thesis course they are interested in taking. Postdoctoral fellows should possess strong leadership skills, previous experience with in vivo model systems, and be independent, creative thinkers.
