Congratulations, Kanwaldeep, on being a Featured Trainee with the CDCR
The Berg Lab is honoured to have Dr. Kanwaldeep Singh featured in the Centre for Discovery in Cancer Research's (CDCR) Trainee of the Month series.
Dr. Singh is a Research Associate with the Department of Oncology. Kanwaldeep earned his PhD from McMaster’s Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, and earned both his BSc (Honors) and MSc (Honors) in Microbiology from the Panjab University in India.
Dr. Singh is the grounding element of the Berg Team and has been with the lab since its inception in 2019. Kanwaldeep possesses considerable technical expertise on many platforms. He is skilled at using genetic, metabolic and functional approaches, and at performing different functional cellular metabolism assays. He is well-versed on the lab’s research projects and oversees the supervision of trainees; guiding their research activities and ensuring relevant training is completed and adhered to. Dr. Singh is an amazing resource for our trainees. His mentorship is paramount to the success of our trainees.
