Congratulations Jamie, on your NSERC USRA

The Berg lab is proud to announce that undergraduate co-op student, Jamie Avrumutsoae, who joined the lab through the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, was awarded an Undergraduate Student Research Award from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for Summer 2024.

Jamie’s research focus is on the Inhibition of fatty acid synthesis as a novel method of differentiation therapy in AML.
